Craft with Kathleen: New Fabric Project #1

Remember that fabric I bought during the Stampin' Up! 50% off sale? I was able to use it yesterday when a friend asked me to make 2 headbands for her friends who are pregnant with girls.

The flowers are the same as my "Gift Card" pins (see below). The difference is that the buyer has the option of having the flower sewn directly on the headband or made into a barrette that can be clipped, not only to the headband but also, into the hair. I find it helpful to have the barrette combo when my girls won't wear their headbands.

I haven't made flower headbands for a while so it was fun getting out my supplies.

I laid out all of my freshly washed SU fabric and my friend picked the ones she like best. I got to work and here is the finished product. Won't the girls look darling in them?!
