Making Kisses With One of My Favorite Treats

My 3 year old daughter came home with 3 Rice Crispy Treat Kisses that she made at preschool. I thought they were so cute (and delicious) that I had to make some. Of course I also had to add a stamped sentiment for the kiss label.

I did nothing differently when making the Rice Crispy Treat. I used the usual butter, marshmallows, & cereal. I cut squares of wax paper to keep the treat from sticking to the foil. The trick to this forming the kiss shape is using a kitchen funnel! I bought two different sizes of funnels, one for adult-size treats & the other for kid-size treats.

After the treats had cooled, I wrapped them in foil squares to resemble Hershey Kisses.

I stamped sentiments on Whisper White card stock and cut it out. Using a glue dot, I stuck the label in between the folds of the foil.

Such a cute and easy take on one of my favorite treats!
